Capacity alone does not show whether a battery can start large loads or support the intended backup panel.

The contract should identify every major model

Reject vague descriptions such as “Tier 1 panels,” “premium inverter,” or “13 kWh battery.” Ask for exact manufacturer and model numbers, data sheets, warranty documents, approved substitutions, monitoring ownership, and responsibility for labor if a component fails.
