Credentials must be verifiable

Independent expert review policy

Wattcrunch will name an expert reviewer only after identity, relevant credentials, review scope, date, and conflicts are documented. We do not create fictional biographies or imply review that did not occur.

Current status

No independent named expert reviewer is currently attributed

Content is source-checked under the published editorial methodology and calculation functions are tested where practical. That is not the same as external professional review.

Reviewer requirements

  • Relevant, independently verifiable solar, electrical, engineering, finance, tax, policy, or utility-tariff expertise.
  • A defined review scope rather than a site-wide blanket endorsement.
  • Disclosure of installer, manufacturer, lead-generation, affiliate, or other commercial relationships.
  • Written approval of the displayed name, biography, credentials, review date, and reviewed claims.
  • Re-review when a material formula, law, tariff, or product claim changes.

Attribution standard

A reviewed page will identify the reviewer, relevant credential, precise scope, review date, and a profile containing verification links where available. A reviewer does not become responsible for user inputs, future policy changes, or site content outside that scope.

Qualified professionals can propose a review

Include your credential source, subject area, proposed scope, and conflicts. Wattcrunch does not sell positive review attribution.
